On July 16, 2016, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology Alumni Association of Sri Lanka (HUST-AASL)- the first alumni association based on international alumni was successfully launched in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. HUST Team Renew the Record on ISC2016

On the ISC 2016 (2016 International Supercomputing Conference) held in Frankfurt on June 22nd, HUST team set the new record and achieved the highest LINPACK benchmark score. It’s the second time for HUST team to won the honor. It’s reported that there are totally 12 teams from various countries and areas participated in the competition. ISC is the premier international forum for the presentation of research results in high-performance computing systems held since 1987.
