On July 27, at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Chang Yani, a sports training undergraduate from HUST’s School of Physical Education, and her teammate Chen Yiwen, clinched the gold medal in the women’s synchronized 3m springboard diving event. This victory marks the sixth consecutive Olympic gold for China in this event. It is also the first gold for the Chinese diving team and the second gold for the Chinese delegation at Paris 2024.

HUST sent a congratulatory letter to the Hubei Administration of Sport and Chang Yani.
