From November 19 to 21, the French-Chinese Conference on Green Chemistry was held at HUST. As an official event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations and a precursor to the 5th French-Chinese Conference on Green Chemistry (FC2G-Chem 2024), the conference facilitated communication between Chinese and French experts in green chemistry, promoting in-depth collaboration in relevant fields between HUST and the world’s leading universities.
Chen Jie, Director of the Office of International Affairs, HUST; Laurent Cuenoud, the Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan; Maxime Feraille, the Science and Education Attaché of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan; Zhao Qiang, Vice Dean of HUST’s School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering addressed the conference.
Leading scholars from France, China, Singapore, Republic of Korea, Egypt and Iran reported their research development in green chemistry. Young students from China and France presented their latest progress of work to the delegates.
