On the evening of December 27, 2024, the 2025 HUST New Year Gala for Chinese and International Students, hosted by the School of International Education, took place in the lecture hall of the National Precise Gravity Measurement Center. Over 500 Chinese and international students and teachers gathered to celebrate with music and dance.
Zhang Yonghui, Vice President of HUST, delivered a speech, highlighting the contributions of international students to campus diversity and academic excellence over the past year. He extended best wishes for the New Year and encouraged all students to pursue their dreams through hard work and dedication.
The gala featured musical acts, traditional dances, band performances, and fashion shows, showcasing a diverse range of cultures with the participation of students from various countries. The evening came to a warm end in "Cheers" sung by Chinese and foreign students together.
The 2025 New Year Gala provided a platform for Chinese and international students to express themselves, reflecting HUST’s dedication to fostering global engagement and building an internationalized campus.
