In June 2021, the English monograph “Green Village and Town Construction in China”, co-authored by Prof. Wang Xiaoming from the School of Civil & Hydraulic Engineering and Assoc. Prof. Hua Hong from the School of Environmental Science & Engineering, was published by Springer Press and Science Press Beijing (ISBN: 978-981-16-2097-3, eBook ISBN: 978-981-16-2100-0, DOI: https://doi.org/10.1007/978-981-16-2098-0).
This book systematically summarizes the authors’ pioneering research results on the construction theory, construction methods, evaluation technology and application of demonstration projects in China’s green villages and towns in the past 20 years. It is divided into three parts and eleven chapters. Part I is about the theory and development of green village and town construction. Part II is about the planning and construction methods of green villages and towns. And Part III is about the evaluation of the planning and construction of green villages and towns. This book consists of 490 pages, including 143 tables and 138 figures. It has received more than 500 downloads within weeks of its online publication and has attracted international acclaim from academics and professionals.
In addition, the Chinese monograph of the same name co-authored by the two professors, was published in June by Science Press Beijing (ISBN: 978-7-03-068610-7).
