On November 20th, during the 5th French-Chinese Conference on Green Chemistry (FC2G-Chem 2024), HUST held an awarding ceremony of advisory professorship for Professor Yves Bernard Philippe Queneau, a researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Xie Xiaolin, Vice President of HUST, presented the appointment letter to Prof. Queneau, welcoming him and expressing appreciation for his enduring partnership with the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at HUST. Prof. Queneau expressed his honor at the appointment. Over the past two decades, he has significantly advanced Sino-French cooperation in green chemistry and looks forward to achieving even greater outcomes in the future.
Prof. Queneau, guided by the famous organic chemist S. Danishefsky, holds key roles at CNRS, Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) and several universities. He is also an Honorary Professor at the University of Hull in the UK.
