From November 27 to 29, Associate Professor Ping Guo, Lead for Internationalization of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, and Associate Professor Christopher Wagstaff, Head of Global Student Mobility of the College of Medicine and Health, University of Birmingham (UoB), visited the School of Nursing, HUST. Their visit was expected to promote bilateral cooperation and development in nursing practice. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on various prospective cooperation projects and exchanged expertise in international nursing research.
After visiting Union Hospital and Tongji Hospital, the experts delivered two academic lectures on palliative and end-of life care, and psychoactive substance use respectively. They also visited the History Museum of HUST, appreciating the university’s long-standing history and rich cultural heritage.
