Recently, HUST has received approval for its Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program in Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence (AI), marking it as a pioneering institution in Hubei Province and the nation for providing interdisciplinary education in these fields.

To address the national need for talents in the digital economy and the “AI plus” strategy, the program aims to cultivate high-caliber individuals with expertise in both digital economy and AI. Jointly offered by the School of Economics and the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, this program leverages abundant application scenarios of AI in digital economy, while AI serves as a pivotal catalyst for the digital economy’s growth. Starting from 2024, students can enroll in this four-year program after taking the National Higher Education Entrance Exam.
