Several students enrolled in 2023 at the School of Future Technology of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) have achieved milestones in academic research, with one paper published in Briefings in Bioinformatics (BIB) and two others accepted for presentation at the 2026 IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR).
The research paper published in BIB, a leading international journal in bioinformatics and computational biology, was titled BioMNEDR: Mechanism-Guided Network Embedding for Drug Repurposing, and authored by Zeng Yizhou under the supervision of Professor Liu Xueming from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation.
The study introduces BioMNEDR, a novel approach that enhances the accuracy and interpretability of drug-disease association predictions by utilizing mechanism-guided network embedding.
The two papers accepted for CVPR 2026 were written by Liu Siyuan, Zheng Chaoqun, Sun Zhengyang, and Chen Yu, who were guided by the undergraduate innovation team for intelligent perception and autonomous driving, led by Professor Bai Xiang. CVPR, organized by the IEEE Computer Society, is a premier international conference that represents the highest level of computer vision research globally.
The paper PointTPA: Test-Time Parameter Adaptation for 3D Scene Understanding, co-first authored by Liu Siyuan and Zheng Chaoqun, addresses key challenges in 3D scene understanding and proposes an innovative solution. Sun Zhengyang and Chen Yu authored the paper When Numbers Speak: Aligning Textual Numerals and Visual Instances in Text-to-Video Diffusion Models, offering a practical approach to addressing critical issues in video editing.
