News.hust.edu.cn After two days of firece competition, HUST Sports Meet 2018 was wrapped up on the afternoon of October 20. The event attracted over 70 teams and more than 2,000 athletes. Let's take a look.

Qin Jiacheng from the College of Public Administration (CPA) clocked 2:49.93 in the undergraduate men's 1000m, breaking the record of the sports meet; Li Honglong from CPA broke the undergraduate men's high jump record with 2.10m; Liu Xinpeng from CPA broke the undergraduate men's medicine ball record with 18.19m; Jef Jiawei from CPA broke the graduate men's medicine ball record with 17.05m.

The College of Life Science & Technology, the School of Optical and Electronic Information and the School of Management finished top three in the undergraduate first division group category; CPA, the 2nd Clinical Hospital and the School of Education finished top three in the undergraduate second division group category; the School of Mechanical Science & Engineering, the School of Optical and Electronic Information and the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics finished top three in the graduate first division group category; the School of Public Health, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and the School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering finished top three in the graduate second division group category.

The School of Management, the School of Journalism and Information Communication, the School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the School of Sociology, the School of Optical and Electronic Information, the School of Automation and the 2nd Clinical Hospital won the Fair Play Award.

The 1st Clinical Hospital, the School of Electronic Information and Communications, the School of Medicine and Health Management, the School of Hydropower & Information Engineering, the School of Marxism, the School of Physics, the School of Pharmacy and the School of Public Health won the Outstanding Organization Award.
