On March 10, a unique choral flash mob was performed in the atrium of the West 12th Teaching Building. Through moving melodies, students from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) expressed their infinite love for life and steadfast pursuit of youthful dreams.
The activity was organized by the School of Arts and the Art Education Center. The highlights included the energetic dance performances by students from the FM Street Dance Club, as well as a wonderful guzheng ensemble by Peng Jingxuan, a young French-based guzheng player, and professional teacher Li Yashi. Their performance showcased the unique charm of blending traditional and modern art.
Accompanied by the sound of Chinese guzheng, the melodious tune "What the World Gifted Me" flowed gently. Immediately afterward, the passionate and exhilarating melody of "This Is Nezha" rang out. The students’ clear, deep, and powerful singing conveyed their infinite love for life, and their determination to stand firm in their beliefs.
The activity attracted many teachers and students who gathered to watch. They hummed softly to the rhythm and even joined the choir, showcasing the vitality and spirit of youth. The flash mob is a testament to how aesthetic education is seamlessly integrating into campus life.
