Recently, the Chinese-foreign Joint Education Committee (CJEC) released a list of outstanding cases of Chinese-foreign Joint Education institutions in 2024. 20 joint education institutions, including China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy (ICARE) at HUST, Zhejiang University-University of Edinburgh Institute (ZJE), and University of Michigan–Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI), were on the list.

Making it to the list of outstanding cases, ICARE, once again gained high recognition from peers for its demonstrative role in promoting the high-quality development of Sino-foreign joint education institutes.
