The 2024 HUST Fluorescent Night Run took place on October 13, with over 3,000 teachers and students running through the forest campus. As the starting gun fired at 19:30, more than 20 pacesetters sprinted from the starting line, leading the participants to coordinate their pace. Over 3,000 participants closely followed, embarking on this 3-kilometer colorful journey illuminated by the glow of their light sticks. The run gained a hint of mystery and romance from the interplay of light and shadow. Teachers and students in orange shirts were immersed in the passion and joy of running, shuttling between campus landmarks such as the University History Museum and Library. The scattered points of fluorescence converged, seemingly lighting up the entire forest university.
The “Fluorescent Night Run” has become one of the most remarkable sports activities at HUST, advocating a lifelong enthusiasm for sports that enhances both physical and mental well-being.
