On March 1, the 2025 HUST Spring Sports Carnival, hosted by the HUST’s Sports Committee, kicked off at the central playground. Themed “Chasing Dreams in 2025, Walking Vigorously Towards the Future”, the carnival aims to energize the campus and enrich the extracurricular lives of faculty and students, encourage students to exercise actively, foster lifelong sports awareness, and create an atmosphere where everyone respects and loves physical activities on campus. Zhang Yao, Vice Chair of the University Committee, attended the opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony was held on the afternoon of March 1. The leadership team played games and interacted with students, expressing full support for the carnival. Additionally, representatives of the Office of Student Affairs, the University Youth League Committee, the Office of Undergraduate Education, and the School of Physical Education also attended the opening ceremony.

Composed of daytime and nighttime sessions, the event offered a mixture of sports challenges, interactive games, and cultural activities, allowing every participant to enjoy the atmosphere of happiness and the charm of sports.

Students shuttled through games, showcasing their energy in running, pouring their sweat into jumping, and boosting their friendship through challenges, all while enjoying the fascinating campus life.

As a signature event of HUST, the sports carnival is committed to providing a relaxing break for faculty and students from their busy schedules, promoting sports participation, club growth, and lifelong fitness by encouraging students to master a sport during their university years.
